Impressive acceleration thanks to gear changes at lightning speed: the S tronic is now responsible for this in the Audi R8. The new 7-gear dual-clutch transmission changes gear with virtually no interruption in the power flow – which for you means irresistible dynamics. In the R8 V10 Spyder with S tronic, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h takes just about 3.8 seconds. Adaptive air suspension unites comfort and dynamic handling by combining air suspension and a continuously variable, electronically damper system.
The electronically controlled air spring system adjusts the suspension to suit the current situation. It achieves this with fully load-bearing air springs on the front and rear axles combined with a continuously variable, electronic damping system.
